I was trying to dismantle my 300D engine and hit a major snag in that the conrod bolts were not secure on the conrod - the bolts just keep on turning when trying to loosen the conrod nuts. Can one use the conrods after this ? I suspect that even putting new bolts in I will have the same problem. Has this ever happened to anyone before as my enginneering shop says they have never seen this before!.
