the gas is on and the spark lights the stove. I got it over 25 years ago
while I was in Europe and it still works just as nice as when new.

Yeah the electronic ignitors are a pain. Fail al
ndmother's house. The new
one has good clean pilot tubes and lights up quick. The thermostat in the oven
holds temp as nice as you please. For the first time we can bake potatoes at
camp that don't have 1/8" crust

I keep one of those long nosed butane lighters that is out of gas for just
that purpose - the little spark will ignite most any flamable gas.
