We have Oreck upright and canister. Both are very nice and relatively trouble free. I might try a Dyson so long as it fits under the counter. On Mon, Dec 3, 2018 at 1:25 PM Curt Raymond via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > Thats a weak argument, the cord is less of a thing than

Thats a weak argument, the cord is less of a thing than lugging a weighty vacuum cleaner around. If you put lots of ports you can have quite a short hose. We have one port but our house is small.I also don't need to think about finding an outlet, I don't have to manage the cord, the bin gets

How long will it last? We've been in our house 12 years so the central vac is at least that old, if I were to guess its probably twice that old but I don't know for sure.Had a Kirby door to door salesman stop by a few years ago, didn't know they still existed before that, he did the "lets test

While I have no experience with the Dyson "stick" things, I do like our Dyson Ball vacuum. Lightweight and quiet. Look for a sale - the normal prices are really too high for what you get. Take a look at Dyson's cordless, might be spendy but I'll bet it works pretty good. We've got a Swiffer

The thing I really like about our central vacuum is that it exhausts outside the house! It is a bit of a chore dealing with a hose, but I am OK with that. I had an issue where my powerhead clogged up with dog hair that got sucked up behind a napkin which got stuck in the pivot point on the

Beg to differ. For $200 you can have a Eufy that will not only pick up all the stuff but it will do it at a scheduled time every day while you are elsewhere. What the robot lacks in power it will more than make up for in persistence. The area under it's time vs suction curve is huge because it

Had it in my boyhood home in the 60s and 70s and it was horrible, as it was really inefficient. The Hoover Constellation was used instead. I suspect it was either a crappy system or was poorly designed. Put it in the house we built in Wisconsin and it was wonderful. Especially nice for a two
