Mac Tracker says, and OWC confirms that the iMac can use max 1gb dimm in each slot for total of 2gb. The powermac has 8 slots, have to mount in pairs in both. Powermac can use use 2gb dimms. Might it be JEDEC incompatible? and not really running at true pc3200 spec. Powermac 8,1 and 7,2.
