I run the non-ethanol (blue) stuff in every piece of power equipment I own, and
have for a long time. I have used StaBil, but on a limited basis. If I’ve got
something going into long term storage, like more than a couple of months, I
drain the tank and run it out of fuel.

It's designed to keep you on the site. If it found what you were looking for
right away, it wouldn't meet that goal.

Stabil sucks. It'll go bad after a couple years and clot right in its own
bottle. Marine Stabil is better but still clots after a couple years.
Put 1oz Seafoam gas additive in every gallon of gas you buy. Put it in the can
before you go to the gas station. I use a Ratio Rite measuring cup:

Should have moved faster on the Cub Cadet tiller that was listed here last
winter, but by the time I called it was sold. Everything else right now is too
far away or more than I want to spend.
