I've had one for about 6 years and its outstanding. Designed in Germany,
but made in China I think. It performs exactly as it did when new, so I
expect it to last a long time. Recommended.

We have had a Blue Moon for about 10 years. It has the motor speed
selector in the handle at the other end of the hose from the "cannister".

Old hoovers uprights are the 240D of vacuums for carpet. Or old
electrolux if you like a canister type.
