The wheels through time museum is heavily oriented to Hardly Davidson,
but still looks very interesting. They are raffling off a 1936 Hardly
61 Knucklehead. It was HD;s first attempt and OHV engines. My dad had
one. I have a copy of the picture where he won a hillclimb in 1941 on
it, competing with the top names in the country. I also have a poster
for the hillclimb one of his old gang gave me at his funeral. The
Hardly was sold soon after, and those funds and his winnings went toward
building a house for him and his new bride. I've often wished he had
kept the old Hardly.
We are thinking of being out that way this winter, so the museum is a
possibility going out, or coming back. Anywhere BUT on I-95! Don't
wanna fall in with the wacko new yawkers and joisie crowd heading to
invade Flahduh.
