with a BFH with one swipe on the anvil, shearing the old
rivets, and rivet on a new tooth using the little IH

Yep. I did that mostly with the JD H and 7' sickle, and then the
2020 with a 9' sickle bar and some with the IH 240., again with a 7'
sickle. I don't miss changing sickle bars and changing the sickles
on the bar. But you can do things with a sickle bar mower that you
can't come close to with
