We had a microcell innernet thingy from att but it died without warning
which was sort of catastrophic from a professional standpoint. They require
a gps signal to work which would also cause it to stop periodically without
notice. And it only works with five phones so nobody else can use it eg

Yes, they work. Key is a good outside antenna installation,
and optimally siting the inside antenna. Try not to skimp,
basic physics will not be denied!

Skimp on device or on installation?
Apparently the fcc only allows 70dB amplification now. They used to allow
75. So I got the most allowable. We have -75bB signal at one end of the
house so if I can pick that up it should be enough.
As for the inside antenna, I'm not sure how one would skimp on
