Switching from a 616 to a 617 should be the easiest possible conversion since
they're already from the same chassis. Same motor mounts, same transmission
connections, same accelerator control on the IP, same fueling location etc.
I'd want to do a TDI conversion, same power as a 617 for considera
Maybe just had one lying around?

is a totally modern motor. Cost of swap is huge regardless, so might as
well get some performance.
