A 17' U-Haul is only $1446 in comparison, although that does not include the cost of fuel and motels. Figuring 300 gallons of fuel at 10/mpg and 3000 miles, you're still under $1000 for fuel alone. Granted, there is something to be said about having someone else do the driving, but... Dan ---

Just went to their Web site and ran a quote. For a 16' container shipped from Tampa to Reno they wanted roughly $5100. Ouch. Then again, I have no idea what moving rates are these days, either. Nothing was mentioned about weight in the quote, either. I think I'll run a quote for a 16' U-Haul t
