Since I did not need to look at that old car for Kleb, I figured I
should mope at the PnP. Too darn hot for much else.
Still looking for the 60mm center caps for the psuedo bundts, and found
two that fit, but that was a few weeks ago, and could not find more.
Did find two old benz to play with though. The 116 450SEL was really
picked over. I did get some back up lug bolts and the instrument
cluster. If needed, I can fetch the ACC for somebody.
The 240D/115 was in bad shape, but really untouched. Rusted through
all over, but still had factory first aid and missing the rad and
becker. I was able to salvage the cluster, AC control, Injectors and
small stuff. Other than rust, she was there because she did not make
much power. Figure somebody with a bit of time could get her back
running, and could use the 4 speed tranny. Red car, very oxidized but
solid hood and trunk. I did not mess with the lights front or back
which are in great shape for a 30 yo car. If you need, I can pick
those up.
