Andrew, I'll get it done tomorrow. Harry Harry, If it was too large then it probably wouldn't fit my 1 5/8" high dash opening. If you would like to send me privately a photo or two showing the cross section I would know for sure. http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

The Becker in my '83 300D quit but I don't want to fix it or get another Becker since the car is a beater with 300K miles. Can anyone suggest an Asian radio that will pull in distant stations? Years ago Pioneer was the best long range radio. I'll also replace the antenna; probably with a non-ret

Funny that you say this, as I recall that Beckers were notoriously poor with FM reception, at least with the GPs. Maybe it was another model I'm thinking of? Sent from my iPad > On Wed, Aug 14, 2013 at 9:51 PM, Allan Streib wrote: > >> The radio wiring in an 83 300D is pretty simple: switche

If the Beckers are poor, then Honda and Ford (which actually has a Blaupunkt installed) are even worse. Allan Dan Penoff writes: > Funny that you say this, as I recall that Beckers were notoriously poor with > FM reception, at least with the GPs. > > Maybe it was another model I'm thinking of?
