Rock auto doesn't make it easy to use the "coupon" code, finally figured
out that you paste it into the "How did you hear about us?" block and then
it subtracts the discount.

Yup. But you do on "free shipping" sites too. The difference is
with RockAuto you pay actually shipping charges so buying multiple
items get a "group" rate for shipping.
