I'd go to the local fabric store and get a few yards of something that looks
good, then make my own covers. Bit more work, but then you know it'll fit
and be exactly what you want. ;)

A lot of taxi drivers around here seem to use those covers that look
like wooden beads. Doesn't *look* comfortable to me but I guess they
would allow for air circulation.
My current ride has leather seats.
I live in Florida.
Leather + sunlight + heat + humidity = soggy clothes

the benz tex is their vinyl, which is often mistaken for leather. Your SD
most likely has vinyl now, as most SDs came with that. It's very durable,
and I feel, often stands up better than leather, and is easier to maintain.
I believe all parts are available to rebuild seats, including covers.
