The real issue is the number of parking spaces. I have seen 2 vehicles
in the past couple of weeks that I wanted but I resisted because I have
no where to park another.
They were both Ford Crown Victorias.

Three points, 1 - if you have two drivers who need to be mobile at the same
time, and you have older cars, you need N+1 vehicles - 3 in your case.
2 - this is a temporary situation, you'll be back to driving all over the
country in a year or two.
3 - A cool car can be a fun hobby, an alternative to
Gads, temptation is everywhere.
With us driving a lot less I've been thinking we don't really need 3 vehicles
and really don't need 2 high MPG vehicles. This leads to dumb ideas...
