Subject: 85 380SL with ABS Built the Martha pressure bleeder. blew out the lines first (RR, LF, LF). Then put in fluid and tried bleeding. Got the rear lines bled quickly. RF would not bleed. Tried LF, could not get it to bleed either. Put the pressure bleeder on the LF bleeder and it b

On my 82 300SD (126 non ABS) I had to replace the little rubber caps on top of the brake reservoir before I could pressure bleed. Otherwise brake fluid squirted out from the old, rotted rubber caps. By the way, I use a purchased Motive Products bleeder, which is a commercial version of the garde

When ABS is working correctly, I never noticed much difference. It may take another lb or 2 psi. I re-bled everything this afternoon. I didn't notice any air. The RF still runs slower than the others. When driving, if you apply the brakes gently, the car pulls left badly. If you brake hard

126 CONTENT: When I switched my first SDL over to DOT5 I let the whole system gravity bleed, then in stalled a new Master Cyl. That was the cause for the switchover anyway. I figured as long as I have a nice clean shiney MC, why not preserve it with DOT5 in place of some mixture with water,
