I checked the mechanical gauge on the compressor at the 7-11 against my
digital gauge. Theirs read 10 psi low! Looked like it had maybe been
run over a few times.

The best pencil gauge I ever saw was by Schrader and had a round aluminum
slider.
Consistently read within 1/4lb of my best dial gauge.
I've got a couple of inexpensive digital gauges, they both read the same
(within 1/2lb)
at any pressure up to 110psi, probably beyond. I rezero them every tim
guages. Some even can

I kind of like the little digital ones. They're cheaply available at
