Bob,

first, we need to be clear about whether we're talking about LSD (Low
Sulfur Diesel), or ULSD (ULTRA Low Sulfur Diesel). (i didn't see a thread about
LSD, only ULSD...)

whether or not we have "something to worry about" doesn't seem to be clear
to everyone yet, but many seem to think that just mixing in even a small bit of
BioD will address any concerns with regard to lubricity. frankly, i can't see
where there's
much to worry about, since most of the rest of the world has been using ULSD
for years already. in any case, like it or not, ULSD is finally coming our way,
and that's all we're going to be able to get in a few more years.

that sticker was printed up with the idea that it's going to be there for a
few years, so they worded it so that they don't have to replace it next year.
that sticker you quote is on a LSD pump (not a ULSD pump), and will be
required for a few years since there's allowed to be *both* LSD and ULSD out
there for a few years still. 2007 and later Clean Diesel vehicles require the
use of only ULSD as
LSD may cause damage to some of the emissions componentry, so they need to put
stickers on the pumps that are not ULSD for the benefit of the people that have
the new diesels that will require ULSD.

cheers!
e
