Burned up cars on a fairly regular basis. D-Jet fuel lines should be
inspected for leaks at each oil change.
I've done all of min, including the hoses between injector and rail,
which is a huge PITA. However, they no longer leak, and hence I get
peace of mind AND 2 mpg better fuel milage.
