I have an extra set of those. They are a late model 124 wheel style,
commonly called "8 hole". 15x6 or 6.5" I think.
Similar style but different dimensions were used on the 140 and r129. The
r129 SL wheels are 16x8.
I am going back to 15 hole dinner plate style SL wheels (also 16x8) on the

I have a set, not yet put to use. They are 15 inch, which gives much
greater selection in tires.
Be aware the wheel lug nuts are longer with this wheel than bundt wheels...
and bundt wheels are longer lugs than steel wheels.
The good news is, the longer lug studs/nuts are available on ebay, for
my 95 SL600 R129 has wheels like that too as does the 95 E320 W124

This. Very common on the late 124 cars. I like them much better than the
earlier version.

Thanks for your interest. Indeed I do still have the set of Centra wheels
with caps and other bits like the right lug bolts.
They are in decent condition with no curb rash and still shiney . They
are 15 inch, btw.
They do indeed fit the 123, in fact they came mounted on the 300D. I don't

Flip them over and get the part number off them. The first three digits
are the most important.
I don't think any wheels newer than W126 chassis would be a direct bolt
on to a 123 or 126 without
The temptation is great on this set. Set of 5, $150, for wheels and tires,
tires are 90% remaining tread, doubt the spare has ever touched pavement.
What are the numbers I should look for? Presuming there is a magic number
that fits.
Thanks,

This short answer is: no.
They will bolt up, but the offset will be wrong. You need spacers like
these:

Despite having done this myself, I agree that they're going to look strange.
Even 8 years ago, those W220 wheels were dirt cheap. Cheap

The offset is different for the W201 chassis and later, they will not
fit.

The simplest wheel upgrade for a 123 is 15 flat pancake wheels from

rims are perfect.
