it should only run with either the temp or pressure gets to high in the
ac system depending on year etc. Yours is probably temp. Just jumper
the switch on the drier to see if the fan kicks in. If it does, then
the problem is probably the switch. That is, assuming that it gets up
high enough
That fan only comes on above a certain coolant temp, or above a freon
pressure -- only when needed. I don't remember the specs.
