Did the '79 have a Delco rotary compressor or was it a the older York on

My 79 has the Delco rotary, I think the crossover was early 79 or late
78 since I had a 78 240D that had the York...
My friend has a Delco unit off a later 300SD, I am assuming it will
fit.
