Debbie picked up the Quantum plates for me yesterday -- $23 (personal
property tax and all associated fees). Plates on the motorcycle sets me back
$15. Benz is about the same as the Quantum, Buick just a couple bucks more.

Since 1983 or 1984, Michigan has had an ad valorem component to
to pay the county property taxes on my cars (due by my birthday, which is
tomorrow), and i have to say they make it easier and easier all the time.
just went up to a drive up window, gave them my driver's license and wrote a
check . whole thing took maybe 5 minutes at the place. wasn't that long
