The first C was the W202 and before that MB used the term 190 Class in 
their literature. Later they tried to invent a history of long tradition for 
the 
C-Class and decided to lengthen it buy adding the 201 which only fooled 
those who don't know their MB model history. I have removed the C300 from my 
car's rear lid with a heat gun and dental floss, hoping that someone will 
think its an S65.
