Wipers could be the stalk, but usually a stalk problem is intermittent.
Worth a shot, but be ready to test motor as well.

switch malfunction? The left turn signal also works intermittently,
changing from slow to fast blink then back again, but bulbs illuminate
fine.
I am also planning an injection pump/turbo upgrade and an intercooler.
