Thanks, Karl. He self isolates pretty well, so that’s not an issue. He didn’t present with any respiratory issues. If he has what the wife brought home, it’s not so much diarrhea as things are just really loose. That’s why I was saying I was surprised that all of the known stuff I threw at it

It could easily be covid 19 unfortunately. Diarrhea is one of the known presenting symptoms in a significant minority of patients. Of course it could be tens of other viruses or bacteria also. The doc probably doesnt have any access to a test for non hospitalized patients. That is changing

Glad to hear it is not COVID-19! Lesson to us all, not a good time to share any health concerns with other than a healthcare professional or family, lest someone go off half cocked. Sad stories about traveling nurses being kicked out of leases because landlords are afraid of contagion.
