Mesa 10.4.0 release candidate 1 is now available for testing. The
current plan is to have an additional release candidate each Friday
until the eventual 10.4.0 release on Friday, Dec 5th.

The tag in the git repository for Mesa 10.4.0-rc1 is 'mesa-10.4.0-rc1'.

As a reminder, with the 10.4 branch now created, patches nominated with:

        CC: <mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org>

will now be candidates only for the new 10.4 branch. To nominate patches
for the older 10.3 branch as well, please use:

        CC: "10.3 10.4" <mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org>

The expectation is that the 10.3 branch will remain alive with bi-weekly
releases until after 10.4.1 release.

I have verified building from the .tar.bz2 file by doing:

tar xjf MesaLib-10.4.0-rc1.tar.bz2
cd Mesa-10.4.0-rc1
./configure --enable-gallium-llvm
make -j6
make -j6 install

A worthy mention: I have decided to pick the gallium-nine work, for the
10.4 branch considering how well it's isolated from everything else.
Not to mention that now it has a maintainer :)
