You can do it from Metacard without opening the HC stack. I have a Hypercard stack on my Mac desktop called "audio.hc". In the MC message box I typed: answer getresources("/HD/desktop folder/audio.hc","snd ") The answer dialog listed the "snd " resources in the unopened stack. Then I typed: a
