I'd like to poke at running metacard as a service loading and testing
.mc files etc. Just to see what can be done reading and writing and
displaying etc. Where is the best place to find examples to start
with?

Yes, you are quite right re 'dontWrap'.
maybe I was a bit unclear about what is happening:
my Bulgarian text (dontWrap is false) just breaks as soon
as it hits the right-hand side of the field so (and I will
use an English word here as an example) we might have:

I made a quick little widget with a field containing some
Bulgarian text and another containing Latin text.
2 little buttons: "dontWrap TRUE" and "dontWrap FALSE"
scripted to turn dontWrap on and off for both fields.
Worked beautifully for the Latins text
