Dear John and List,
Let me make a quick clarification. 65% of what has been coming out of
Morocco lately being sold as Amgala is actually Zag and is being supplied by
a single source to other Moroccans who in turn have been selling them to
dealers. I was shipped 4.6 Kilos of Zag that was sold as
Dear List and Adam. Adam, in a recent email to the
list (see below) you claimed that "~65% of the
dealers" selling Amgalas were selling something other
than Amgala. Neither Mark Bostick, nor we have seen
anyone selling fake Amgalas and we find this claim of
yours somewhat difficult to believe. Coul
Dear Friends,
While talking with a friend in Nevada, he mentioned
that he heard a report of a firball crashing into
the desert near Bullhead City, Nevada. He joked that
I should come look for meteorites there instead of

Unfortunately, all I could find were some fragments

Hi List,
In the past a number of group members were going over to Mark Bostick's
area and using the chat room. Mark laid out suggested times to meet in
order to do this. Is that something still being done or has the group
moved to another area. Just curious.

Hi list and Bernd,
the camacite needles or spindles in Taza are very sharp defined and come out
very contrastful after etching. If there are a lot of spindles, they are
often so oriented, that they indeed are imitating a kind of a
"Widmannstättern pattern", but not very similar to Dronino.

I am probably one of the few collectors who still do not possess any
Dronino specimen for fear of it rusting away as fast as some Nantans.
your deinfatly not the only one... i havent purchased any - being spitting
distance from the gulf of mexico isnt very conducive to keeping rust prone

Hi again all,
Jerry's paintings are now all up. I was rather impressed when I
reviewed where many of his paintings now reside and the fact that
one of them graced the cover of METEORITE MAGAZINE and at least
two others made up the covers of books while many others ended

Hi All,
I am busy getting up Jerry Armstrong's paintings. I am
eager to find out who owns, "The Great Allende Meteorite Fall"
(In my opinion, his greatest meteorite painting to date).
Unfortunately, Jerry recently had open heart surgery
and is on medication that impedes his memory. I am sur

I bought a slice of Dronino from Ivan a while back and it arrived already

Hi List,
does someone knows, whether there are further studies done with the strange
iron named Dronino?
I think most of us will have acquired a sample this year, as Dronino is
offered so often and, known of it's tendency to rust, is extreme cheap.
That's why I think it's of interest for the liste
