Preliminary reportjust got in at midnight after 800 mile drive
yesterday.
Show was magnificent! I was able to see a few of my meteorite friends,

In my NWA 869 335 gram slice, I have 5 very dark inclusions plus I have a
1 cm chondrule that is a light grey color and a 5 mm chondrule that is
very light in color.I have to say,this is a very unique meteorite.To me,
of all the NWA'S,this one seems to get and give the most attention.My 2

In my big NWA869 there are some of the "mysterious grey areas" that contain
metal grains and some that do not.
Those witch contain metal grains seems to do that in the exact same way as
the rest of the meteorite.

Could you send me a copy of that JPEG as well? I have some of Dean's
unclassified material, most probably NWA 869, and I too have "gray,
featureless areas" in several of mine.
