Dear List,
Is anyone aware of literature on Ni depletion in
highly weathered meteoritic shales? I have found some
iron shale in the isolated Gobi desert and have not
yet had time to test it, as I am just now home.
Thank you. Dirk Ross...Tokyo

Hi,
The really interesting thing about this planet is that it is 15,000
lightyears away, toward the Galactic Center. It's way downtown!
Planets everywhere. Lovely thought.

I agree with Rob + the fact that the shiny crust can make one thinks that it
is an achondrite... Of course, sometimes terrestrial rocks from the Sahara
can look like a meteorite with fusion crust because of desert varnish. But
if you are assured to get your money back if it's not a meteorite, and

Hello List,
I am offering a new achondrite, with nice dark crust at a price less
than any achondrite has been offered for previously. With the deserts
drying up and others off limits this is a wonderful opportunity, and may
be one of the last, to get a very cheap achondrite. Please contact
Martin, I will be there arriving Frday afternoon, just in time for the big
party friday night. I am leaving for Hong Kong in five minutes, then on to

Hello List, I thought some of you might want to see a cool barred chondrule,
or at least what I am guessing is a barred chondrule. It looks more like it
was slit in a few places and stretched, like you might do with a piece of
paper.

Ceres is still 2.5X brighter than Vesta tonight and twice as far as Vesta!
Take advantage of this to collect a memory of Ceres. Just a quick message

I keep mine up here in WY's desert dry by keeping in a cheap sealed top

Hello everybody,
I have been meaning for a while now to add a new page to my web site, one

West. But a page with maps, pictures, documentation, to present them fully.
And it is finally done. .
