Hi,
I am in a moral dilemma here and I need a few opinions!
I have just won an item on eBay at a VERY low price - about a 10th of it's
value. The buyer has emailed me thus:
"hello there. im afraid there is no way i can let this item go at such a low
price!!! i bought it for nearly £250 and i know

You sets your price, you takes your chances.
Seriously, Ebay would fall apart if everyone who gets less than they hoped
for is allowed to back out of the deal. Do what you feel best about, but
there is certainly nothing morally wrong with you insisting that the sale
complete.

Dave,
I've taken some brutal losses on ebay. That's business. If a seller doesn't
want to take a chance they should set a reserve or a starting price that's
comfortable for them and takes their investment into consideration. I don't
think the dilemma is yours. It's the sellers problem.

Do not let him off! It is a scam, and he is upset that the item went for
less than he paid or too cheap. With my one cent sales (like the one ending

Well, you have two choices:
1 - let it go, and lose the good deal
2 - Demand he sell to you, have him refuse, leave him negative feedback, and
get some yourself, and still not get the item.
There is no way that this person is going to sell you the item for the bid
