Hello to all Lunar Lovers,
I just added a fantastic selection of smaller NWA 5000 slices on the
Nature's Vault web site. These are breath taking pieces that will enhance
any collection from the smallest starter all the way up to the World's
largest museum or private collection. We took the car
Wondering why no predominately olivine or dunite meteorites exist? Does this
have something to do with proto planet size and crustal evolution?
Thanks,

Hi Jack and List,
Jack asked, "Wondering why no predominately olivine or dunite meteorites
exist?"
I actually have two different 'dunitic' meteorites:

Hi Mendy,
If you look at the literature, there are only a handful of brachinite
oxygen data sets, so "anomalous" may be a poorly defined term. The
brachinite trend could actually intersect or cross-over the TFL --
perhaps that is what this one is doing. Or, it could be terrestrial
contamination, o
Hi All who showed interest so far in the 'only' Dunitic Ureilite, NWA 7630

Oh, there are other ureilites with at least 90% olivine. A very quick
search finds that Singletary and Grove (2003) list GRA 95205 and GRO
95575 with 94% and 90% olivine, respectively.

Hi List,
As a collector, the first meteorite I ever encountered that was
described or labeled as a "dunite" was NWA 2968. I bought a
micro-crumb of it off eBay from Noah Daleo back in 2007 or 2008.
According to the Met Bulletin write-up, it's composed of >95% olivine.
At one point, there was som

why don't you simply block his email address so that his emails end up in

What this guy would hate most is if we would all ignore him. Don't mention
his name, delete his postings, and for gods sake don't feed this troll.
