As a relative beginner to this
meteoriticalworld I'd appreciate some expert advice on something
that's been intriguing me for some time.
TEKTITES !!
I've been reading up on them and I could be very
wrong but are they not just lumps of melted and solidified sand from Earth made
when a
missed
something but I was under the impression that Brahin was pretty stable. Am
I wrong ?
Can anyone offer any advice for the future as to how I should store
pallasites - and other pieces for that matter to prevent decomposure.
Thanks all.

not now but how much expense would I be looking at in the future
if I did attempt to make my own slices
Thanks in advance

on this substance and I can excuse the poor
English of the advert if it's genuine but it does look to me like a lump of
tarmac or bitumen. Can anyone fill me in as to the true nature of this
substance ?
Thanks in advance
