Hello List, If you are into unclassified NWA's with a fresh, fat, black, velvety fusion crust of sorts and an orange interior that contrasts so nicely with a thick, frothy crust, then you would perhaps like to have a look at and possibly bid on one of the remaining "Bou Arfas" that Carsten Giessler is offering on EBay. I've just purchased one of them with the "Buy It Now" option and am glad I did so because this is surely a fascinating meteorite (the item number of my piece is 320052090910 (just in case you would like to have a look at what this little beauty looks like inside).
I can hardly wait until I can hold it in my hands and compare it to my DaG 256 (LL5-6) and to my NWA 306 (L4), which "Bou Arfa" reminds me of. As there are no discernible chondrules in Carsten's picture of my "320052090910", my first guess is that it is probably an LL6 chondrite but pictures do not always speak a thousand words. So let's wait and see!
