More power to you, Edwin! It is all about patience and persistence, and seems to be especially so in the Sutter's Mill strewn field. But the Coloma area is full of natural beauty. As long as you remember to look up from the ground now and then to take it all in, the hunt is its own reward. :

Hello list members, It is getting hot in Coloma! Thirty four days in the area and not one meteorite have I found. Have been investing most of the time in what should be the large end of the strewn field. Thirty four days and I have yet to see a rattlesnake. I enjoy snakes so this is a huge
