Hi Greg St. and List,
What does it look like under a microscope? If you can see cleavages at 90°
it's probably a (weathered) pyroxene (fragment), otherwise it might be a
fragment of an oxidized olivine crystal.
Fred Beroud's Açfer 336 (L3.8; S3; W3) has a few of these conspicuous

I recently acquired an unclass NWA and after cutting it, I not only found a
nice 5 mm chondrule but an odd orange brown inclusion. It almost looks like a
fossil shell - triangular in shape; I know it's not. It is also outlined with
black. Take a look.

Hi Phil and List,
Strongly shocked material, shock-darkening of silicates (S4 or S5).
May be a severely shocked L6 or H6 chondrite and the inclusions
are probably pyroxenes or
Hello everyone,
It's good to be back to meteorites.
I have an unclassified stone that has me curious and I'd appreciate
any opinions or observations on what I might be seeing. I can't find
anything that I can positively ID as a chondrule (but they could be)

I bought this

Mark, no idea, I don't own the piece yet :-). But my best guess would

Does the inclusion contain any defined chondrules?

Hi,
I bought a NWA today, mainly because it has a rather strange inclusion.
Here's a pic:

Any idea what this could be?

Hello
If You have time take a look on this foto
http://www.meteoryt.net/ebay/sahara99477.htm
In my new Sahara99477 I find "something" when I cut one slice.
This is around 13x7mm long and this not look like chondrule or any kind of
brecciation fragment, becouse there is no chondrules (looks like L6
Hello

Hopefully this will work:

just go under meteorites and look for NWA with strange inclusion.
Thanks,

Hi list,
I recently cut a small NWA meteorite and found a weird looking inclusion
in the lower left hand corner, looks almost like agate to me, I was wondering
if anybody could help me in identifying this inclusion. Since I'm a newbie to
meteorites I don't know much about inclusions yet an
