[meteorite-list] Polyester and meteorites

I have some densified polyester that's used to stuff cushions and I was thinking about cutting small pieces of it to use as meteorite padding. Does prolonged direct contact to polyester have any negative effects on space rocks? Thanks, Michael in so. Cal.
