meteorite that was found in the Fort Walton Beach,FL area in 1989. I
was just going to ask again to see if anybody did ever hear about

I can't find a proper definition of the schlieren bands, nor what causes
them to be in ataxites.
Not in my books, nor in the web.
All what I found, were several semantic explanation or paraphrases in
english of the german word "Schlieren". Not even helpful...
