Laurence, Just a quick note to let you and this wonderful meteorite community know that I received your package today. As busy as you are at ASU You went way out of your way to help me with these seven meteorite prospects. I was expecting a few notes on paper telling me I had nothing. Instead , what I got was a nicely detailed letter very well organized along with an actual print out of each PIXE screening. These reports spell out the mineralogy of each specimen including the Nickel content. I was very happy to see that three of the seven did have enough nickel to warrant further review. And the fact that you did all of this work in such a short period of time adds to the excitement. Laurence you went well above the call on this. I appreciate this more than you know.. You are truly one of the great scientists in this field.. Thank you again.
This seems like a good time to recognize a few other scientists that have also gone out of their way in the past to personally help me.
