in the applicationConfiguration.custom.properties.

At MIFOS webpage we see, for interest calculation for loan accounts, equal
monthly installment, the base days are 30/360 or 1/12. Can we possibly
change it to 30/365?

After you deploy and start your MIFOS application, you can only change
certain things in your COA mappings. Specifically you cannot
1. Modify/delete your existing GL accounts
2. Modify the GL codes itself.
You can however add new GL accounts if needed.
