we are still investigating. It was quite a shock on Monday morning to
discover all loans and savings were zero! There were some error
messages on the log at startup of the server so Tolu has implemented a
planned shut down every evening instead of just having someone in the
IT dept. power dow

As FYI, Keith Woodlock (prior to this happening) was planning to spend a
little time looking at their database and configuration to troubleshoot
other outstanding issues.
He now has their database and their logs so perhaps he will find
something there.

Sorry to hear about your data issue. This is also troubling as I've never
heard of anything happening within Mifos before, neither can I fathom how
this is possible. Can you shed some more light into what happened? Have
you done an investigation into what happened?

I believe what this means is that its not applied for generation of meeting
schedules. I can see how its confusing to read, but its meant to be clear
about the interest.
Best way to determine this would be to test these scenarios out.

I am not seeing consistency in how this is being applied but here is
one example where the repayment is pushed out a month:
Disbursal date: 20/09/2010 which was BEFORE the holiday was created!
