I would like to install MIfos X on two separate servers; the database on one
server and the application on another server.
I have changed server.xml to replace localhost with the ip address of the
database server. The application server has a public ip but the database server

in the mifosplatform-tenants you need to also set the correct server URLs for
your tenants. The initial connection in server.xml is only used to query that
table for the connection to the tenant.

I was able to deploy Mifos on 2 separate servers and it works well, what is
left are the pentaho reports. Where can I change the pentaho reports to specify
the correct server URL?

The pentaho reports now have the database connection parameters passed to
them by the mifos platform (starting from release 1.22.0), so you do not
need to make any changes to the reports
