Yes, I have - I've stopped using Ether1 completely other than as a test
port.
IIRC, Ether1 is not processed by hardware like the rest of the
interfaces so I don't use it anyway.

Hi,
I just did a scheduled upgrade of an RB493 from 4.17 to 5.5. The
upgrade completed successfully, but the router didn't have ethernet link
on ether1 after the upgrade reboot. I had to have someone power cycle
it, at which point it linked on ether1 and started working fine. Has
