Try aes ccm instead of wpa and set 15 in hw retries. This fixed 80% of my
problems like this.

I would probably jump to 4.0 then 4.16 for them. The APs at the least, then
troublesome stations.

Radios, maybe, but same symptoms on 2.4 and both versions of 900 across
multiple towers. If no one else is seeing this, I am not ready to go
change a bunch of hardware.

I use MT RB4xx with UBNT XR? cards for APs and RB411 with R52, SR9 or
XR9 cards for most locations. Occasionally a CPE will quit
communicating with the AP. Go into the AP registration table and
