Good, that's progress. I don't play with ecb's so I don't know much about
them. Although I wonder what interface the ecb is trying to connect on?..
The ether or wlan?

Ok, some progress...

I set up a client on another rb750 and have connected... I now see what 
the interfaces tab is meant to show.

so:

1. You can't create a loop test.
2. my ecb 1221 isn't playing nice.

Thanks for the help, sorry, I perhaps should have thought to test that 
sooner.
