I'm looking to setup a MT router for going VPN connections. Is there
any way to pass authentication from the MT to an Active Directory domain
controller?

I don't believe AD speaks any language other then busted LDAP.
Microsoft might have something along the lines of a radius server,
which of course could authenticate through AD.

AFAIK, Freeradius can talk to AD (so you shouldn't need an MS radius
server).
