Meaning, is there someway that when you go back into queues that the columns
you select stay, even after a reboot ? I know it's petty to reselect them, but
to bad you can't select many at once like using the ctrl key.

try using the exit buttom instead of closing the windows.

The columns will never save. If you do a nice close (that is don't
lose connectivity and hit the X or exit) it will save the windows and
their positions, but still never the changed columns.
Last I tried was early 3.x.
